In its notable start, the XC90 luxury midsize SUV quickly became a family favorite due to its smooth ride, attractive Scandinavian design, and spacious cabin. The XC60, which ranks first in the luxury compact SUV rating, quickly followed suit.

Winner: Volvo XC60 2020

The XC60 is available in four versions: Momentum, R-Design, Inscription and Polestar Engineered. The Momentum starts at $ 40,150, which is a typical starting price for a luxury compact SUV. The R-Design and Inscription editions start at $ 46,850 and $ 47,150, respectively. The limited-edition model, the XC60 Polestar Engineered, starts at $ 69,500.
Price of the XC90, which comes in three models, starts at $ 48,350 for the Momentum. R-Design starts at $ 56,100 and Registration starts at $ 62,600. The XC90 is priced lower than many of the mid-size luxury SUV competitors.
